I've been looking at the XAML debugging features in VS2017. From the articles and videos I've seen, it looks like I should be able to select an element in the Live Visual Tree, open the Live Property Explorer and change the value of properties.

Well, I can't. They are all read-only. Am I doing something wrong?

Right click and then it display the property window, we could only change the property that is not grayed out, just tested in my side:
