We have recently created an Image thumbnail page in SharePoint 2010.
When i open the page in IE, i am able to see following 3 different views are available:
1. Detail view
2. Thumbnail view
3. Filmstrips view
But when the same page is opened in Chrome, the page is displaying only in detail view.
As per my requirement, my page should open in Thumbnail view in both IE and Chrome.
Please suggest can we implement this change in SharePoint 2010.
Hi Sumanth,
Looks like any image stored in sub folders of a picture gallery was not rendered properly in browsers other than IE may be not able to detect the folder path perfectly as in IE. Actual root cause is some columns were creating problems for Chrome in the URL
Create another view and select the column "Type", "Name" and "Thumbnail". The "Type" column is clickable and you will find all the necessary images when drilled down. The "Type" column luckily treats SharePoint URLs correctly.
