Issues: I have been using Seagate DiskWizard (A scaled down version of Acronis) to do system disk backup and restore regularly because the Windows own system restore is not working properly. After the upgrade to 1703,  due to a development work I did, I crashed the system which I had no other means to recover it except for restore it to a version just a couple of days earlier.

Seagate DiskWizard is a track by track disk backup utility which I set it up to do the complete C: drive backup, including the MBR and reserved blocks. I have used this backup utility many years never experienced any issues with it.

After the restore, I noticed that several of the documents created since the last backup in D: all disappeared. My Desktop is still located on C: which is expected to rolls back to the restored version. However, the files in D: (My Document) shouldn't have been affected and was, not what I expected.

I am very curious whether of not this happens due to some internal changes of Windows file system in Windows 10 1703?! My only hypothesis about the cause is that some File System meta-data is stored in C: even related to files on D:, which is in the completed hardware backup image of C:, was also restored. Thus, my newly created files since the last restore are all gone. I am not so positive when this kind of behaviors started because I have not done a completed system restore for a while. My impression is that in the earlier Windows 10 1607 did not have such problems.
