I'm using the Exploratory Extension to create screen recordings for bugs but when i search for existing work items, it only finds user stories/product backlog items. no bugs or tasks come up in the search.

I can search the bug and product backlog items from the Exploratory Testing Extension when I tried to repro the scenario.

I would suggest you try by disabling and enabling the Extension or reinstalling it. Also, please check the URL of the Team project you have specified.
