I'm part of a small internal dev. team that would like to have multiple Team Projects to organize work for different product groups, but maintain a "master" codebase that can handle shared custom library dependencies, multiple solutions, and allow any dev. to work on any task in the company.  From what I understand, git submodules are the way to go about doing this.

Are there any tutorials on how to go about setting something like this up, taking into account Visual Studio use, the git configuration itself, and the Team Services project management?
