Are the both versions of Visual Studio 2017 and 2015, compatible with each other ? We know that all the projects created in VS 2015 are supported easily in VS 2017 but is the vice versa possible ? Actually, I am working with a team where two of the other guys are working on VS 2015 and I have VS 2017 installed on my machine. Referring to this stackoverflow question, a number of project types are compatible with the both and luckily I will be working on REST APIs type so is it completely okay if I will be using VS 2017 and they guys will use 2015 and we will be sharing our code with each other on github ? I believe that Stack Overflow post has the answers you need.  Create the project in 2015 and open it in 2017.  You can't create it in 2017 and open it in 2015.
