After changing a users primary email to a different domain in Office 365, the user is unable to access any Team Project (401 error with TF50309). In the security page in the control panel, I see that the "Username or scope" column shows the old address, but I could not find any way to change that.

How can I correct this issue without needing to create a brand new user in VSTS?

As per my understanding user should have at least Basic access and Team Services account owner or project collection administrator permissions.
