HI: I have a flash SWF object embedded in the Main Page (Index.html) of my website that has 5 other pages that one can link to from the Main Page. This has an animation sequence that has a short endless loop sequence towards the end.

I would like the same SWF object to be in all the other html pages but I do not want iit to replay from th ebeginning, i.e. I would like it to be at the same state (endless loop) from where we leave index.html without having to reload or replay from the beginning.

How can we do the above? Thanks in advance.

You can't.

You can simulate it by staying in the first page and using AJAX to simulate moving to the other pages (i.e. updating the content that would be changing from page to page) or by using iframes for the same visual effect. But I don't recall a parameter that can be passed to the player to set the start point of the swf (one may exist, but if so I do not remember it), and besides, you would have to have a way of determining the point at which the swf in the previous page was playing to be able to set such a parameter if it existed. Even if it could somehow be accomplished, I seriously doubt that you could ever achieve seamless timing from page to page.

The player plays in the context of the browser's process, and I know of no way to accomplish your goal with an embedded swf.
