Recently installed a software i.e. "MySoftware" on my Windows Server 2016 box. Installation was successful & I was able to run all components except one i.e MyServerComponent.MSC

It is giving error as "MMC cannot open the file "path\MyServerComponent.msc"This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC Console, or was created by later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file.

Same component is working fine on Win 2008 & 2012 server machines and we want it to supported on Windows 2016 also. Not getting any error/information in event viewer. "MySoftware" is our legacy product and we want it to be supported on 2016 server. I am the developer and need to make this compatible with 2016 OS. Unable to trace why it is failing. Now adding logs in code and trying to find point of failure. This is C++ code and I am not an C++ expert.
