is it possible to set a property on an image in order to allow the image to be moved wherever i choose the image to be placed?  Right now it appears I can only set a left/right/none, I want to be able to move the image to whatever location within the table i want.

Hmm, you know, I haven't used tables for layout in so long I don't know what the effect of absolute positioning is inside a table cell, but anywhere else that would do it. Tables are different in a number of ways, however, so I'm not sure if or how much freedom of positioning would pertain to an absolutely positioned element in a cell.

W-a-a-y back in the day when I did use layout tables, CSS wasn't much of a factor, so I used the standard cell alignment methods and never tried AP in a cell. Since I find layout tables abhorrent, and prefer not to encourage their use in any way, I do not intend to test it myself, but you may feel free to do so.  ;-)
