为了检查问题是否只发生在特定的网络测试中，请你重新启动VS作为管理员，创建一个网络测试，记录针对

Hi All,

I m facing a strange issue in Webtest. Can someone help me ?

I recorded a Webtest using VS 2012.2 ULT and if i reopen the solution/.webtest file I m getting an error."Web Test could not be loaded. The specified Webtest cannot be loaded(c:\...\*.webtest).

I thought It was an issue with VS 2012.2 so I have recorded the same scenario in 2012.3, 2012. 4 But the issue remains the same.

I tried different solutions, but nothing worked out.

But Interestingly , the same .Webtest file opens in 2013 ULT.

Hi,

When you open the problematic web test, please make sure that the web test was not used somewhere.

IN order to check whether the issue only occurs with the specific web test, could you please restart VS as Admin, create a web test, record requests against www.bing.com site and run web test. After that close VS and then open .webtest file with VS2012 from File Explorer to check whether the same issue will occur.

If the same issue will occur with a simple web test, I doubt there is anything wrong with your VS environment. You can create a new user account and run VS to check the result.

If no help, please repair and reinstall your VS2012.
