I am trying to add a service reference to a Windows 10 Universal Windows App and I am experiencing some issues. I get the following message "Data service client code-generation failed. Specified Windows Store Framework '.NETCore,Version=v5.0' is not supported. Only .NETCore 4.5 and above is supported.". Result: I am unable to add a service reference to my W10 universal app. Any workarounds/ solutions?
