I'm developing a new UWP app that will be used as a control panel interface for an industrial machine.  In order to communicate with the machine I need to access some kernel mode drivers.  The problem that I have is that I cannot access this type of drivers from a UWP.

Windows Anniversary update that enables a UWP package to have executables that run as full trust instead of in an app container. But it still doesn’t allow to access kernel mode drivers.

For now, there’s only one scenario that refers to full trust capabilities. It’s Desktop Bridge.
