I want to play an animated gif in my wpf application.
What's the easiest way to do this?

I hope someone else can post a better answer, but the only way I found to do it was to host a tiny html page inside a Frame.  The html page can display the image where a image object can't.  The Frame seems to need a html file on disk to work.  

Like I said, I hope there is a better way.
 
Some people seem to have had luck using a MediaElement, but I don't believe this is officially supported.
