I have seen examples of creating custom conventions of making all columns as non Unicode.

I would like the ability to say columns would be non unicode. the sample convention shown on ado.net blog is not too hard to create but is it solved in the rtm version?

We are looking at adding some global flags (unicode, default schema, etc) but not for the first RTM.
