Hi Folks,

I am used to utilize the Tab key for indenting forward or Shift+Tab for indenting back a block of text or a selected region in the editor of Visual Studio 2008. When trying to use these same features with Visual Studio 2010 and the region is collapsed, it causes a bad indentation inserting a lot of white spaces at the first line of the region. I have already tried to change a lot of settings in the editor configuration but nothing has changed in this bad behavior. Is there anyone that knows how to fix this annoyance?

I've tried on my side but cannot reproduce your issue.

I select a Region and press Shift+Tab and it works as expected.

Could you please provide some detail about the scenario to reproduce, or could you please reinstall your VS2010.
