I was trying tables and didn`t like the results. I made the mistake of deleting some code via the code view.
I previewed my changes in IE 7.0. all seemed fine. I then checked in Firefox and my bottom
detail is now just under the header.  All my other site pages are formatted correctly.

You can Undo even though you've previewed and saved. Just Undo a bunch of times until it's right.

Without seeing the problem, my guess, from the description, is that you removed the clear:both styling in the footer section of the style sheet.
