Yes you can able to do so. I think in the image you are pointing to the black div having a circle at the right corner.

For that take 2 divs and apply css property (border-radius: 20px;) to one of the div and then place the div to the required position as you wanted. Here the border-radius property allow you make the div circular. For background colors you can use background-color property. For allignment you can use float.

This will help you in solving the problem.
