Hi all,

I am making a application where the user will upload the data into database as SQL using excel sheet. My concern is that I have to do a lot of validation checking on the sheet before we can finally upload the data into database from the sheet. I read about XSD but am not getting any idea how to achieve that. I mean directly reading the data from excel sheet and than comparing it with the predefined format and than if all is OK than uploading the contents to DB.
Please provide me with some idea or references.
