I Created A Dynamic Gridview And The Auto Generated Coloumns Are True when I click on edit Link Button In Gridview i.e is Edit itemtaplate Dropdown Will Appear And Again Clicking on edit Button The Textbox is displayed with the dropdown and the is changed to update and cancel


we have not made textbox but it is displaying how can i get only dropdown

Im a bit confused with your question, but i guess i got most of it.
Once you click "Edit Template" you have more options in it, choose the "EditItemtemplate" and put a DropDown menu there and in the ItemTemplate put a label

Item Template is the control that you would see when the GridView is not in Edit mode.
