Hi there,
Can someone please help me. I've created a form in expression web and now want to link it to my database.
I'm new to this but know enough to get around extremely slowly.
I created a form in expression web (simple- just first name and last name) with a submit button and a database in visual studio. I'm trying to have an action from this link button to submit my entries into the database and only getting error message.
I've read some books and including "Special Edition Using Microsoft Expression Web by Jim Cheshire and find it somewhat confusing. I've seen the total training video on expression web and they only demonstrate creating forms for mail.
It's funny because in visual studio, I've managed to create a database and a user entry form for the web and it works. I was so please and thought this is not so difficult. But now I'm trying to do this on expression web and it's got me really confused.
If someone out there can please help me out, on how to link the form to the submit button, the sql server and then to the database, it would be so much appreciated.
