I need help with a vbscript that will allow me to "plug" in a PC Serial Number and have it provide me with the NetBIOS Name. I am working within a domain environment.

I am doing some asset management and I know the serial numbers but need to find the PC's. If I had the NetBIOS name, it would make my job a lot easier.

Query every PC in the domain and retrieve the serial number into a CSV file.  You can now query the file for the name.

There is no way to query a domain using a serial number.

You might also add the serial numbers to AD  as a custom attribute.
