So I've been having a huge problem trying to properly install Visual studios in Windows 10. I'm trying to use it to program in C++ but the install never completes properly. It will complete, but it comes up with this warning in the middle of the installation every time:

The path up to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\ exists, and the folder contains many similarly named folders to the one the program is looking for, however none of them are exactly the same. Normally I would just ignore this and hope for the best, but when I do that and I try to run a C++ program it can't find the include files for things like assert.h and a few other definitions. I've uninstalled and re installed about a half dozen times already and not once has that file been downloaded that I can find. I've even tried to include other files that aren't marked as necessary just to be sure I'm not missing anything and it still never works. I really need help with this, I can't do my homework until I find some kind of IDE that works properly. Thanks in advance, and have a great day all of you.

Update: I found the download for the file that I need on the microsoft website, but for some reason when I created the folder the installer is looking for and placed the file in it, the installer still does not recognize it as the proper file. The names are all exactly the same and I even changed the folders and files so that they weren't read only, still nothing works. Please help! I'm going out of my mind here!
