I am using Community 2015 and I am trying to monetize a Windows Phone 8.1 app.

Here is the issue. When I drag and drop an AdMediatorControl object onto the canvas, there is no Id property in the XAML code.

Moreover, when I try to configure the ad networks by doing a Right-click on project -> Add -> Connected Service -> Ad Mediator -> Configure this error message pops up: AM001: One or more of the Ad Mediator controls is missing an Id property. For more info see the Ad Mediation Documentation.

Earlier I deleted the AdMediator.config file from my project through the Solution Explorer. (I wanted to re-do the whole process as practice). Is this what is causing the issue?

At the moment v2.0.5 Its not generating Name and Id attributes on VS2015. So if you're using 2015 try to add them manually and make sure its unique insude your app. I hope they'll fix it soon.
