When I start an ASPX page from EW, it loads fine. If I load an HTML page from EW it also loads fine. But when I load an HTML page with a link to the same ASPX page that loaded fine before, it gives the error "The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet " The difference appears to be that the Microsoft Expression Development Server is not loading when accessing the ASPX page from an HTML page. When an ASPX page is loaded a popup usually appears showing the Localhost Dev. Server starting. This does not appear when accessing the ASPX page from an HTML page link.
Is there anyway to get it to kick-in starting with an HTML page? I don't want to have to rename all my pages and links to ASPX.

Check your site preview settings, in 'Site - Site Settings - Preview'.
Make sure you have the second 'For all web pages' option checked, not the first 'For only PHP and ASP.Net pages.
