Created a com component using VB6. Installed on application server (windows server 2008 R2 64 bit OS) under component services , com applications.

Did you find the version of the component at the Registry Editor(you could input the regedit on cmd), than According to the GUID search the component.

you can install the com component on local computer. you need to confirm whether the component can work well.
