I am new to expression web coming from front page so my knowledge is feel your way in the dark.  I am working on a church web site.  I purchased a template that has a vertical slide menu.  I have a page that has the description of 11 items.  I want the vertical slide menu to link to a specific place on 1 web page because this page is lengthy and I don't want members to have to scroll down the page to find what they are looking for.  Initially this page broken into 11 pages and there is not enough data on each page and the pages looked silly.

The vertical slide menu is in a separate file from the web page I am trying to link to.  Please help if you can.  I have tried everything I know to do.

On the page with the eleven items, highlight a word in the area you want the page to open to and then click Insert bookmark. ( press Ctrl+G )

A dialog will open with your highlighted word in it. Click OK
Save the page and leave it open.

In the page with the links, highlight the word you want as the link and click Insert > Hyperlink.
( or Ctrl+K )
In the hyperlink dialog, click the Bookmark button and in the list that appears select the word for the area you want the page to open to.

These ae also called anchor tags.
