Hi, I read about "How to: Use the Parallel Watch Window", written a small program, set a breakpoint inside code, launch then I go to Debug menu > Windows > Parallell Watch and chose Parallell watch 1.

As soon as I add a watch, VS crashes and restarts. I tried on laptop and desktop with VS 2017 enterprise edition, win 10

According to your steps, I tested in my VS2017, it works fine. Please check your Visual Studio 2017, make sure it is in latest version. The latest version is 15.3.4.

Then please check whether you have installed any other visual studio third part extensions/plugins. Please disable these third part extensions/plugins one by one to make sure it is not caused by them.

In addition, please create a new console application with some simple code and do the same operations to check whether this problem related to your code or VS itself.

And please check the ActiveLog.xml file which stored in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\15.0\ActivityLog.xml. It will log all operations for Visual Studio. Please check whether there has any error message logged.
