I am a beginner developer, I am working on a simple app where the user can enter patient name and some specifics for that particular person - protein intake, weight etc.

When clicking on the save button, all the data would be save/stored somewhere (locally) and there would a database of these patients, so that when you want to continue working or editing someone, you would just hit Open and choose a name from the database and all the stored values (protein, weight, etc) will be there. You can the edit the values, hit Save and it is saved. You can then open another patient and edit his values and hit Save, etc
