A constant source of frustration for me with Windows Identity Foundation has been the lack of clear documentation for how everything is supposed to work.

In the amount of time I've spent trying to figure out how to make WIF work for me, I could have taken and passed a university course.  In spite of all the time I've spent, I sometimes feel incompetent working with WIF.

I've spent an enormous amount of time just figuring out how to get a sliding logon expiration working with a passive STS, just to name an example.  I've been all over the web looking for bits of information about how to make WIF classes work.

My question is, What is the best comprehensive documentation about WIF (in general) available and where can I get it?  I would like to have a good reference so I don't have to spend so much time searching for trivial details.
