如果是，则这是设计使然。在SharePoint内部部署服务器上，我们可以将浏览器文件处理设置为允许用户直接在浏览器中打开html文件。但在SharePoint Online中，没有选项。

您可以尝试将Excel文件添加为附件，并检查是否可以在浏览器中直接打开它。

（我可以在我的环境中直接打开Excel附件，但是当它出现在html文件上时，它会提示我下载）

作为一种解决方法，你可以重命名文件扩展名从.htm或.html到.aspx。然后这些文件将按照您的预期在浏览器中打开。

Hello All,<o:p></o:p>

Looking for some feedback from the community. We have a InfoPath based form solution in SharePoint Online environment (Office 365). The form has attachment function so users can upload supporting documents. When i as an admin get the submitted request, when I try to open the attachment is prompts me to download it. Is there a way i can configure it to open in browser, instead of being prompted to download it?<o:p></o:p>

Hi Ajay Mandal,

Which type of the attachment you want to open? Are you want to open a file like HTML file? 

If yes, this is by design. In SharePoint on premise server, we could set Browser File Handling to Permissive for users to open html files directly in the browser. But in SharePoint Online, there is no options for this.

You can try to add a Excel file as attachment and check if you can directly open it in browser.

(I can directly open Excel attachment in my environment but when it happens on html file, it prompts me to download)

As a workaround, you can rename the file extensions from .htm or .html to .aspx. The files will then open in the browser as you expect them to.
