We have an internal SharePoint Online (SPO) site. We also have an separate intranet site. We host all of our files in SPO and link to them, when necessary, from asset or document libraries (images, videos, documents, etc). However, when I try to host a CSS file and I link to it from the intranet site using HTML <link> or CSS @import, it does not render the page correctly. However, when I link to a CSS file in exactly the same way from BitBucket, Github, or from an external CDN location, the pages render correctly. I am wondering if this is a known issue and if so, what causes it to happen? Also, will enabling O365 CDN within SharePoint fix the problem? Will that allow the CSS to render correctly (perhaps omitting any extra metadata that is coming with the script from SPO when delivered)?
