While using Coded UI Test Builder, to recognize the 7edit tool controls, it is capturing the whole window and not able to find out the internal controls. In record and playback, it captures the co-ordinates of the whole window and not find the exact internal controls. can you please help us to extract the controls. We want to generate the generic script, if we go with the co-ordinates based on the resolution of the PC the co-ordinate may vary and hence the script may not be generic.
