I am compiling this under windows 7 but i think this will also not work in windows xp as the compilation error is "BGI Graphics not supported under windows". So what should i do to solve this problem. pls help..

BGI has died at some 20 years ago or so. It was created by Borland, where Object/Turbo/Delphi Pascal and Delp major predecessor of .NET, were created, but BGI was never anything good. Even it 1987, what it was born:
