Our Application uses the Office Interop API to perform some actions. Earlier, with OneNote 2013 everything used to work perfectly.
However, as soon as we moved to OneNote 2016 lot of issues are creeping in.

Additionally, OneNote 2016 itself has lot of issues. There is very annoying "Cleaning Up OneNote" dialog issues which shows when we open OneNote 2016.

While using the interop API's of OneNote, if a application creates a instance of Microsoft.Office.Interop.OneNote.Application then the OneNote 2016 application becomes totally unusable till we free up the instance. This seems a very big issue, as it might be possible that the application will need the OneNote instance to use throughout it's lifecycle.

I am able to reproduce this issue if the I open the OneNote 2016 after there in an instance of "Application" to automate the Onenote.
