First I will like to explain that I'm not native English speaker so, sorry if I writte it wrong.

Lately I'm seeing that search index component is degraded very often, running a script that I found in this page https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/sharepoint_strategery/2015/04/15/sp2013-search-index-health-reports-for-monitoring-and-troubleshooting/   I noted that every time that occurs a merge of an index partition, the component degraded and I got errors in the search and I got to reset the host controller, because never change its status to active again. My question is if this is normal every time that occurs a merged index and what I have to do when this happend.
