I'm having issues attaching jpegs in an email by just dropping the jpeg into the body of the message (which we have been doing with Mac Mail) When someone receives the email, the attachments show up as PNG's which is a huge problem as we are a retouching company.  When the jpegs are converted into PNG's they are also being resized  which is a big problem. Is there anything we can do to prevent this from happening or do we need to be clicking on the attachment icon and doing it that way?

Unfortunately, I believe this was intended as a "feature" to make email sizes smaller.  I don't have my Mac handy to check, there may be a way to disable 'automatic resizing / reformatting' of images in the options - but for now, I would advise simply "attaching" the files, rather than pasting them 'in-line' in the body of the message, that way you'll know that the file arrived as intended.
