I have my assets on a external hard drive and the 127 MB catalog on my mac hard drive. My operating system is Mac version 10.5.5.
When I open the catalog it just freezes my entire computer. Does anyone know whats going on?

Hello,

This is not a known issue, but I'd hazard a guess that we have some kind of conflict with something that's running in the background, or that there is an issue with the video driver. Make sure that you have the latest video drivers. See what happens when you clean boot.

Other than that, it would take some advanced trouble-shooting, which is beyond the scope of this forum. Let us know what happens when you check out these things.
