Hi All,

I have a SharePoint Farm with two server (Application Server and SQL Server 2014). the monitoring team noticed that the SQL server RAM consuming is very high. Can some one please guide me, is there a way to restrict/Limit SQL Server 2014 for RAM usage.

Hi,

This is normal for SQL Server. SQL Server will attempt to use as much memory as possible.

However, we can limit the RAM usages to SQL server. Set max server memory option to control how much memory SQL Server can use. Learn more about Server Memory Server Configuration Options.
