I have an app that I'm ready to publish that uses a map control which works fine on my 2 dev devices but when I launch my app in the emulators (8.1 emulators) I get "warning no authenication id and or token specified".  I've read where you don't need the application id or tokens on 8.1.  this only happens in the emulator, I just wanted to make sure there were no issues before publishing my app and I wanted to use it for screen shots.

are the id and token needed?  if not how can I remove the warning on the emulator?

When we use the Map Control in our Windows Phone app, it is necessary to add the ApplicationId and AuthenticationToken to the Map Control for the app to run fine in the production.
