In Visual Studio 2015, my formatting options are not sticking.

For example, I go to Tools >> options >> Text Editor >> Javascript >> General and unselect Automatic brace completion:



I also go to Tools >> options >> Text Editor >> Javascript >> Formatting >> New Lines and select Place open brace on new line for functions and classes, and also Place open brace on new line for control blocks.



But these keep getting undone.

Maybe it was a problem with Synchronised Settings [https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn135229.aspx]. Make sure you are logged in to your account. (It should be an indicator in toolbar). Or you can temporarily disable this feature and investigate the effects.
