Although I am well educated, I really struggle to understand Microsofts mixture of products. I am in business with 3 other partners and we have just three requirements:

From what you say I am far from convinced that you should go with an online solution because this will have inherent problems with upload / download speeds and response times: lost time is lost money partcularly if you are a small business.

Most (large) businesses will use OUTLOOK for email. I am not sure if you can mail merge your contacts from OUTLOOK with WORD (I think you can but if you can't you can put your contacts into EXCEL and merge them into WORD from EXCEL).

Maybe you should look to moving to a pc based operation rather than a MAC based one since OFFICE works well on pcs and could be regarded as a tried and trusted solution on that particular platform.
