I imported a folder of dng images from my D700 into the catalog and the full size thumbnails appear. When I click on Media I sometimes get the error message "no importer found for media file". The file will sometimes open in Photoshop when I request "open With" and sometimes it won't. If I click around on a few other images and come back to the image with the error message, the file behaves normal, then later it is an error message again. Get the same problem (erratically) when I try to convert the dng to jpeg. Sometimes the Media tab will render a full size image and sometimes only a thumbnail size iimage. While I have had other issues, this is the first time this one has occurred.

I'm going a bit unstable myself and have wasted several days fighting with this software. Often after I repoint an image to a proper file, I will go back and the image says the file is now pointing to trashes. I can't take much more of this stress. I'm deathly afraid to empty my trash for fear of losing valuable images.

Hello Garth,

First of all, upgrade to the final version of SP2. There were some major problem with a new rendering process we tried to implement in SP2. When that backfired, we pulled it and replaced it with build 2096. Until you are on that, I don't even want to hazard a guess as to what's wrong.
