I am creating a basic income statement using crystal reports.  I need to have totals for all my GL accounts in 2 categories, MDT and fiscal YTD.  I have put in a parameter for the user to select the range (in our case it is fiscal year to month end, 5/1/12 to 8/31/12).  I can get the fiscal YTD totals from that but am having trouble with the MTD (8/1/12-8/31/12).

It does not accept this b/c it say the {GLTransactionMasterList.GLTransactionDebitAmount} should be a statement.
