Hello;

I’ve been using Windows 10 for a while now and have been very impressed with the integration of the old and the new. I’ve thought of a useful improvement that would benefit your Business Users. It would require enhanced functionality to both Windows Calendar and Notifications. These would be integrated into both Windows 10 and Windows Phone.

Firstly, Windows Calendar would be changed to permit Users to indicate what their work week is.

1. The User wold specify something such as Monday-Friday 8AM to 4PM to initialize their Standard Work Week,

2. They would be prompted to accept or change their Standard Work Week, once at the start of each week,

3. This Calendar info would be synch’d across Windows 10 and Windows Phone devices.

Then the Notification control capability would be modified, so that different actions would be taken depending on whether or not events occurred inside or outside of the User’s Standard Work Week.

Additionally the User would be allowed to turn-on or turn-off individual Live Tiles during working hours. At some point in time AD Group Policy could be enhanced to permit businesses to Disable things such as Facebook notifications and the Live Tiles individual Live Tiles, during working hours.
