Hi, 

I am using minifilter driver to control copying of files into removable devices. When the user performs copy & paste to a USB device, a 0kb file is created and a warning message with "Continue" and "Cancel" options are displayed. On selecting "Continue" file is copied. Upon selecting "Cancel", FILE_DISPOSITION_INFORMATION is set in FltSetInformationFile function and the 0kb file is deleted.

Copying & pasting of files works correctly for me. The problem appears when I

1. Open a word document

2. Do a "Save As" and select USB device as destination.

3. My warning message is displayed and when "Cancel" is selected, following errors are displayed.

"Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error.('Drive letter:\filename.doc')

"Check the drive to make sure the door is closed and it contains the correct disk or CD."

Can someone help me with this issue. Is Microsoft Word expecting a return value when a "Save As" is cancelled ?
