Hi, I have a spreadsheet with text >255 characters. When I link to it, the linked "table" that I then use for queries drops any characters over 255.   Any ideas as to why and a possible workaround?

I've seen that issue before but now can't remember the fix.  Try this as a sanity check: make a new blank table with a field that is Memo or Long Text (depending on your version).
