A useful safety method can be to obfuscate the content and save before you proceed so that even if it was recovered, there''s not really anything to do with it.

If I''m not mistaken, File.Delete will permanently delete the file bypassing the recycle bin (note that is does not throw an exception when the file does not exist, only when there''s a permission issue).

* But I guess you''ve checked to see Pandora securing the file even if it permanently deleted ...
