After installation I cannot connect to the server to check for updates on VS for Mac Enterprise.

The message I get: "Error retrieving update information".

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

I found that you also post a same thread here , not any response currently.

I just test on my VS 2016 For Mac Enterprise, everything works fine as below: all the stable updates are to the latest.

If you receive error about retrieving information, you'd better check if the network is well-connected, disable any Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware software on your computer. Then please refer to Visual Studio 2017 for Mac Product Family System Requirements , install those SDK and update so that system requirements are applied well.
