I have an excel file and want to get the documents 'Location' as showing in the Document Properties Panel (i.e. folder directory and filename).

My file is stored in SharePoint, and when opened through SharePoint I can use ActiveWorkbook.FullName to get the URL string that I want.

However, when I sync the sharepoint folder and open the file through the synced folder I get the local address (ie. C:\..., rather than https://).  I understand why, but the https URL shows up in the Document Properties Panel in the Locations field and I would ideally like to get that https address, rather than the local address, but I have no idea how to do so. I hope that made sense, if so, can anyone tell me how in Excel I can get the https address for a workbook opened from a synced sharepoint folder?

Did you mean when you open file in local folder then the full name returns local address and if it was opened in web, then the full name returns with https?
